Organic Louisa Leaves

Organic lemon verbena leaves – Lemon Verbena- Aloysia triphylla

Most of us know this wonderful plant.
It originates in South America.
Lemon verbena, the medicinal verbena, is a plant with a mildly calming effect on the mind.
A lemon verbena infusion after a meal supports digestion and eases the feeling of heaviness.
Lemon verbena has a wonderful lemony flavor, and everyone loves it as a hot or iced infusion.
It also contains a high concentration of citral in its essential oil.
In recent years, citral has become well known thanks to research on its anti-cancer properties.
Lemon verbena is rich in essential antioxidants that help lower cholesterol and protect the body’s tissues.

The desert growing conditions create a high concentration of active compounds in the plants, and our special drying method preserves their active and volatile components.
All our plants are grown organically and harvested by hand, with love.
